Finding quality free cloud computing courses in Urdu is hard. Thousands of English cloud courses exist on YouTube, Udemy, and Coursera, but pure-Urdu options are rare and most are scattered video playlists rather than structured courses.
This guide covers the two best free courses available in pure Urdu — both from Sherdil E-Learning — plus three free English-language courses worth pairing with Urdu learning aids. We have tested each of these and use most of them in our own teaching.
How we picked these courses
We reviewed dozens of cloud computing courses available to Pakistani learners across YouTube, Udemy, Microsoft Learn, AWS Skill Builder, Google Cloud Skills Boost, and our own Sherdil E-Learning catalogue. To make this list, a course had to meet five criteria.
- The course is genuinely free (no hidden paywalls for the core curriculum).
- The course is structured (sequenced lessons), not a loose YouTube playlist.
- The teaching language is Urdu, or the course is high-enough quality to justify supplementing English with Urdu support.
- The instructor or platform has real cloud experience or vendor authority.
- The content is current for the 2025–2026 cloud landscape.
1. Freelancing and multicloud fundamentals, Sherdil E-Learning (best overall)
This is our top pick because it does something no other free course we found does: it introduces all three major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in a single sequenced curriculum, in pure Urdu, with practical freelance use-cases built into the lessons.
Taught by Sherdil instructors with active AWS, Azure, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud certifications, the course is designed for absolute beginners. Over [X] students enrolled in 2025; first-attempt completion rate sits at roughly [Y]% — significantly higher than the YouTube self-study baseline because the lessons are sequenced and assignments are reviewed.

2. AWS essentials for beginners — Sherdil E-Learning
If you have already decided to focus on AWS (the largest cloud provider globally by market share, per Canalys Q4 2025), this free course is the most direct way for an Urdu-speaker to start. It covers AWS fundamentals, EC2, VPC, S3, and IAM in pure Urdu and serves as a gateway to the paid AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.

3. AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials — AWS Skill Builder (official, English)
This is the official free course from AWS itself. Delivered in English, it runs roughly seven hours and covers exactly what the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam tests. Because the source is the vendor, the content is authoritative and always current.
For Urdu-speakers, the practical pattern is to watch each AWS Skill Builder module first, then re-watch the same topic in Urdu on YouTube or in Sherdil’s free AWS course (item #2 above) to lock in the concept.

It runs around ten hours, includes browser-based lab simulations (no Azure subscription needed for most modules), and maps directly to the AZ-900 certification — the easiest cloud certification to pass and a common first credential for Pakistani job applicants.

How to choose the right free course
Pick based on what you want to do next, not on which platform is most famous.
If you want a broad introduction without committing to one cloud yet, start with the Freelancing and Multicloud course (#1). It is the only one of these five that covers all three major clouds in Urdu and gives you enough context to decide which platform fits your goals.
If you have already decided on AWS — the most common Pakistani job-market choice — start with Sherdil’s AWS Essentials (#2), then move to the official AWS Skill Builder course (#3) to prepare for the Cloud Practitioner exam.
If you want the easiest first certification, target AZ-900 (#4). It is widely regarded as the most beginner-friendly cloud exam, and Microsoft’s free learning path is well-paced for self-study.
If your interest is data, analytics, or AI engineering, start with GCP (#5). Google Cloud has stronger industry positioning in data and machine-learning workloads.
Our practical advice for most Pakistani beginners: start with Sherdil’s free Urdu courses to build conceptual understanding quickly, then move to the vendor-official English courses (#3, #4, or #5) once you are comfortable with the basic vocabulary. The language jump is much easier after you already know the concepts.
Frequently asked questions
Are free cloud courses enough to get a job?
Free courses give you a strong foundation, but are rarely enough on their own. To get hired, you will typically also need a recognised certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, AZ-900, or GCP Cloud Digital Leader at minimum) and a small portfolio of hands-on projects — for example, a deployed personal website on EC2, or a static site hosted on S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
Should I learn in Urdu or English?
Start in Urdu to build conceptual understanding quickly. As you advance, you will need English resources for vendor documentation, certification exams (most are not available in Urdu), and AWS or Azure error messages. The most efficient path is Urdu for concepts, English for execution.
Which cloud platform has the most jobs in Pakistan?
AWS leads job-listing volume in Pakistan (based on active listings on Rozee.pk and LinkedIn, Q1 2026), followed by Azure. Alibaba Cloud has far less competition and a rising demand profile driven by CPEC-linked Chinese companies — useful for candidates looking to differentiate themselves.
How long does each free course take to complete?
Roughly six to ten hours of self-paced study for each one. Allow two to four weeks of part-time study (a few hours per week) to retain the material rather than rush through it.
Do free courses provide certificates of completion?
Sherdil’s free courses do (free certificate on completion. The vendor courses provide achievement badges that are linkable from LinkedIn, but are not the same as the paid certification exams.
Next steps after a free course
Free courses are the entry point. The next step is a recognised certification plus practical project work. At Sherdil, we run paid certification tracks for AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, and DevOps, all taught in Urdu with hands-on labs and lifetime access.
