By Muhammad Usman Khan, Lead Cloud Instructor at Sherdil E-Learning · Updated July 2026

Multicloud training teaches you to work across more than one cloud platform instead of betting your whole career on a single provider. At Sherdil E-Learning that means hands-on training in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud, taught in Urdu and built for Pakistani IT professionals who want to stay employable no matter which cloud their next employer or client happens to use.

Most companies in Pakistan already run on more than one cloud. Job listings on Rozee.pk, LinkedIn Pakistan, and Glassdoor routinely ask for "AWS, Azure, or GCP", and the engineers who can move between platforms are usually the ones who get shortlisted first. This page walks through what you will learn, why multicloud is the smarter path, and how to get started.

What is multicloud, and why it matters

Multicloud simply means using services from two or more cloud providers at the same time. A company might run its main application on AWS, keep its analytics on Google Cloud, and serve regional workloads from Alibaba Cloud. That is different from hybrid cloud, which mixes on-premises servers with a public cloud.

Businesses go multicloud for practical reasons. They avoid being locked into one vendor's pricing, they stay online even when one provider has an outage, and they get to pick the best tool for each job. For you as an engineer, that shift is an opening. Single-platform skills are everywhere. The ability to design and run workloads across several clouds is still uncommon in Pakistan, and uncommon skills pay better.

What you will learn in Sherdil's multicloud training

The program covers the four major clouds plus the DevOps and infrastructure-as-code tools that hold a multicloud setup together. You can take one platform on its own or work through all of them.

Platform What you cover Where to start
AWS Core services, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Practitioner foundations AWS Practitioner course (Urdu)
Microsoft Azure AZ-104 admin skills: virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity Azure Administrator AZ-104
Google Cloud Compute, storage, networking, and Associate Cloud Engineer prep Google Cloud Masterclass
Alibaba Cloud ECS, VPC, and the ACA and ACP certification tracks Alibaba Cloud training (Urdu)
DevOps & IaC Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD across clouds DevOps Engineer course

Every course is self-paced with hands-on labs, so you learn by building real infrastructure rather than watching slides. If you want the full set in one go, the Unlimited Cloud Access Pass unlocks all of it under a single enrollment.

Why multicloud beats single-cloud training

Learning one cloud gets you in the door. Learning several keeps you there. Here is what multicloud skills do for a cloud career in Pakistan.

They widen your job pool. When a listing says "AWS, Azure, or GCP", a multicloud engineer qualifies for every version of that role instead of one. With hundreds of open cloud positions across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi at any given time, that reach adds up quickly.

They protect your income. If demand cools for one platform, you are not stuck. You move to whichever cloud is hiring that month.

They open freelancing and remote work. International clients on Upwork and Fiverr often need help running or migrating workloads across more than one cloud. Our free Multicloud and Freelancing course is built for exactly that path.

They move you up faster. Cloud architect and senior DevOps roles almost always expect multi-platform understanding, because real production systems rarely live on a single cloud. Our Edge in Pakistan

Alibaba Cloud training in Urdu, which no one else here offers.

Our lead instructor is one of a very small group of officially certified Alibaba Cloud trainers in the world, and works directly with Alibaba's MENA and South East Asia teams. Alibaba Cloud is the largest cloud provider in Asia and a growing presence in Pakistan, helped along by China and Pakistan business ties through CPEC. Very few engineers here can work on it, which means very little competition for the roles and projects that need it. Adding Alibaba Cloud on top of your AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud skills makes your profile genuinely hard to replace. Learn in Urdu

Cloud documentation is written in dense technical English, and that slows a lot of capable people down. Every Sherdil course is taught in clear Urdu, so you spend your energy understanding the concept instead of decoding the sentence. You keep lifetime access, you learn on your own schedule around your job or studies, and you get the same hands-on labs an English course would give you. Want to test the water first? Who this training is for

This program fits network and system administrators moving into cloud, fresh graduates who want a job-ready skill set, working developers adding cloud and DevOps to their stack, and freelancers chasing higher-paying international work. No prior cloud experience is needed for the beginner tracks. If you are still deciding where to start, our DevOps career roadmap for Pakistan lays out a clear order to follow.

Frequently asked questions

What is multicloud training?

Multicloud training teaches you to build and manage workloads across two or more cloud providers, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud, rather than specialising in only one. It covers each platform's core services plus the shared tools, like Kubernetes and Terraform, that let you work across all of them.

Do I need to learn one cloud before starting multicloud training?

No. You can begin from zero. Most learners start with AWS because it has the highest job volume in Pakistan, get comfortable with the fundamentals, and then add Azure, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud one at a time. The concepts carry over, so each new platform is faster to pick up than the last.

Which clouds does Sherdil's multicloud training cover?

All four major platforms: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud, along with the DevOps toolset (Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD) that ties a multicloud environment together.

Is the training in Urdu or English?

The courses are taught in Urdu, with the technical terms and commands kept in their standard English form so you stay aligned with real documentation and interviews. This makes the material much easier to follow while keeping you industry ready.

How long does it take to become multicloud ready?

With focused study of two to three hours a day, most learners reach a solid working level across the main platforms in six to nine months. Studying full time shortens that considerably. Because the training is self-paced with lifetime access, you set the schedule.

Is Alibaba Cloud worth learning in Pakistan?

Yes, and it is one of the strongest reasons to train with us. Alibaba Cloud is the biggest provider in Asia and is expanding in Pakistan through CPEC-linked business, yet almost no local engineers can work on it. That scarcity means less competition for the roles and freelance projects that require it, and Sherdil is the only platform teaching it in Urdu.

Can multicloud skills help me get freelance or remote work?

They are among the best skills for it. International clients frequently need help migrating between clouds or running workloads on multiple clouds, and that work pays well in USD on Upwork and Fiverr. Our free Multicloud and Freelancing course is designed specifically to help Pakistani engineers land this kind of work.

Do I get a certificate after completing a course?

Yes. You receive a Sherdil E-Learning completion certificate for each course, and the training also prepares you for the official vendor exams (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud certifications) that employers look for.
